【摘要】:Thistestmethoddescribestheanalyticalmeasurementofresidualmatterinsolventsthatareintendedtobe100%volatileat105x00B1;5x00B0;C.Volatilesolventsareusedinthemanufactureofpaint,varnish,lacquer,andotherrelatedproducts,andthepresenceofanyresiduemayaffecttheproductqualityorefficiencyoftheprocess.Thistestmethodisusefulinmanufacturingcontrolandassessingcompliancewithspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthenonvolatilematterinvolatilesolventsforuseinpaint,varnish,lacquer,andrelatedproducts.1.2Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthisstandard;forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththisstandard,anobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueshallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection5.1.5Forhazardinformationandguidance,seethesupplier'sMaterialSafetyDataSheetformaterialslistedinthistestmethod.
